The Ireland Finance department plays a central role in supporting the growth, stability and operational performance of Dunelm Ireland. Operating as a lean, high performing team, the function is responsible for delivering accurate financial information, maintaining strong internal controls, and enabling informed decision-making across the business.
Working closely with store operations, senior leadership, Group colleagues and external partners the department ensures that financial processes run smoothly, risks are managed effectively, and the business is equipped with timely insights to drive commercial performance.
The Finance Business Partner will play a central
role within the finance function, supporting the Head of Finance and General
Manager in delivering accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls,
and efficient day-to-day operations. This position combines hands-on accounting
with team leadership, overseeing three accounts assistants and ensuring the
smooth running of all transactional month-end processes. Another key element of
the role is to provide reliable financial information, maintain compliance, and
drive continuous improvement across the finance function. The role will also drive financial planning
and decision making in conjunction with senior leaders. It is well-suited to a
commercially minded accountant who enjoys ownership, structure and improving
how things work. Lastly the role will support any future technology upgrades
and improvements within the Finance function
