About the team and the role
Our Brand Marketing team is here to grow love for our brand-boosting awareness and helping more people see us as the go-to for all things home. Whether it’s encouraging our lovely existing customers to pop back in more often, or welcoming new faces to discover what we’re all about, we do it all under our brand platform: ‘The Home of Homes.’
Sitting within the wider Brand Communications team (which includes PR, Influencer Marketing and Advertising), the organic social team brings our brand to life on platforms where our customers spend their time-Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Facebook. Creating content that’s engaging, watchable, shareable, and full of our personality.
As a team, we work closely with the Commercial, Digital Trading and Digital Marketing departments to ensure we promote the right products at the right times in the right channels and work with our Community team to spotlight how we as a business can give back through our charity and sustainability initiatives
The Senior Social Media Executive will be a driven, proactive, and creative professional who is integral to the day‑to‑day running of our social media channels, as well as the creation of best‑in‑class social media content.
The ideal candidate will be a social media native with a sound understanding of our key social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok) and their KPIs, a strong interest in wider social media channels and will have the time management and creative skills to produce and publish content which is on brand, on brief and brings joy to our audiences.
Managing workflows, weekly plans, scheduling tools and writing briefs, you will be a brilliant communicator with a keen interest in production, working with a wealth of different teams (including PR, Studio, Planning and Design) to create content which beats benchmarks on our channels and is delivered impeccably.
With particular interest in short-form video and proven experience with video production, you’ll be our in-team expert on all things Tiktok, helping us grow the channel whilst working alongside the Social Media and Studio teams to hone your video production skills too.
In addition to BAU, you’ll have a knack for project management, producing content for various campaigns from product launches to charity events, generating ideas, attending shoots and evaluating success. Regular reporting is also key to the role, helping the team to improve performance and share insights with the wider business.
