You’ll ideally have hands-on experience with new store openings and renewals programmes, along with a solid understanding of processes, critical paths, and ways of working.
As a Senior Manager, you’ll make sure everything in the role summary is delivered to a high standard. You’ll keep your team engaged and developing by holding regular one-to-ones, and you’ll share feedback with other functional leads to keep everyone moving forward.
You’ll provide regular updates to the Head of In-Store Experience through agreed one-to-ones and quarterly reviews of objectives. Being a functional expert is key, so you can lead effectively, partner across multiple functions, and bring outstanding knowledge of the industry and retail development.
The role covers stores across the Dunelm estate, so nationwide travel is essential.
As the Senior Manager of an influential function, you’ll need to demonstrate leadership behaviours aligned to our core values. You’ll be a strong communicator and presenter, confident speaking to all levels, including Exec and DLT members.
You’ll also need to manage budgets effectively and have strong knowledge of Office applications.
A high level of emotional intelligence is important, as you’ll work across multiple departments with different priorities. The ability to reason, influence, and keep everyone aligned is essential.
