Job Description

We are looking for an experienced POS Business Analyst to join our growing Digital Retail Tech team. The role of the Business Analyst is to support the Product Owner with the formulation of a system or process change on the Enactor POS Platform. The Business Analyst will work closely with the Product Owner, Delivery Manager, QA and the development team in an agile environment to ensure that the requirements are clearly defined and agreed so that an effective solution can be developed and tested.  The Business Analyst will be expected to follow agile principles and attend ceremonies to enable the delivery of stories in sprints.  The role of the Business Analyst will be to support the POS squad within the Retail Tribe.  The tribe’s activities are focused around the delivery of scaleable and highly performant Retail/IT/Digital solutions by providing the best service that we can to our customers. Whilst this role is primarily in the POS Squad, this role forms part of a Retail Tribe and a chapter across wider tech.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and Delivery Manager to define clear user stories reflecting business requirements that add value
  • Understand the business flows, roles and privileges and support any changes
  • Support the definition of the Solution Design incorporating the Business, IT, Technical and external supplier input
  • Support other members of the squad including story writing, defining acceptance criteria, QA and defect management
  • To create any documentation required to deliver change or to enhance the supportability of the service
  • To respond to and support any incidents which are raised relating to the squad
  • To support the end users with training and associated documentation as needed
Qualifications
Essential Skills
  • Have a good understanding of the Retail
  • Working to tight deadlines and at pace
  • Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships and networks
  • Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills
  • Demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing work priorities.
  • Previous Agile experience is advantageous
  • Knowledge of POS Application Configuration (desirable)
