On the hunt for an Apprenticeship that’s challenging, exciting – and as unique as you are? Our Logistics Apprenticeship Scheme could be just what you’re after. You’ll earn, whilst you learn and with some hard work, you’ll have the option to achieve a degree which will be fully funded by Dunelm.

Our Logistics Scheme is a fast-track development programme designed to give you all the tools that you need to begin your career in the world of our Supply Chain and learn the foundations of what makes a good Logistics Operational colleague. Here at Dunelm, we are passionate about watching our colleagues grow, that’s why internal progression has an integral part to play in all our colleagues’ development.  The 2-year programme will make sure you’re challenged, supported, and will give you plenty of room to grow. You will be buddied up with capable Logistics colleagues, who were once in your shoes, so feel confident that you will learn from the best!

Over the 2-years, you will learn and experience every aspect of working in the operational side of Logistics. Alongside this, you will be enrolled on to a Level 4 Associate Project Management Apprenticeship.

The finer details…

  • You’ll join the team as a Customer Operations Apprentice where you’ll supercharge your knowledge and build management experience of our logistics operation as well as picking up new skills from our super-talented scheduling and capacity planning team.
  • You will be designated 6 hours of learning per week which you will be paid for alongside 34 hours per week of working at Dunelm
  • You will receive support on the job from your Dunelm team, Line Manager and dedicated L&D team. In addition, you’ll receive dedicated support from the Northern Training academy for the qualification which will typically take 18 months to complete
  • Much of the learning will take a blended approach consisting of remote and face to face visits from the Northern Training Academy
  • All successful apprentices are awarded a Level 4 Associate Project Management Apprenticeship
  • What next? If after 2 years, you have completed the Level 4 Apprenticeship, you’ll then have the opportunity to go on to complete a Degree Apprenticeship which will be fully funded by Dunelm


All we ask is that you fulfil the entry requirements below;

  • A strong interest in a career in Logistics
  • Strong verbal and numerical skills and interest in data and analysis will be advantageous
  • A minimum of six GCSEs including Maths and English at Grades 5-9

Please note: We will evaluate any applicants who do not have all the relevant qualifications
