On the hunt for a graduate scheme that’s challenging, exciting – and as unique as you are? Our Supply Chain Graduate Scheme could be just what you’re after.

We’re the UK’s number one homeware retailer, turning houses into homes across the UK since 1979. Today, with over 170 superstores across the country and a successful online operation – dunelm.com – we’re an industry-leading, instantly recognisable brand and offer over 50,000 products across a broad range of categories.

How did we get this far? By understanding our customers and constantly innovating and improving the way we do things. And we’re nowhere near finished. That’s why we’re on the lookout for fearless go-getters, ambitious self-starters and creative innovators who’ve got the passion and determination to take charge of their careers – and shape the future of our industry. That’s where you come in.

What to expect:

The Supply Chain & Logistics team at Dunelm is the real engine driver of our business. We keep our stores stocked with the right numbers of the right products at the right time – and we find the most productive and cost-efficient way to do it.

Join our team as a graduate and you’ll dive straight into the ever-changing world of Supply Chain. It’ll kick off with an in-depth induction which will include team-building sessions, a store briefing with an Area Coach and site visits to our Manufacturing, Studio & Mock Shop and Store & Home Delivery Network.

Over two years you’ll:

  • Take on four different rotations in the Distribution Centre to supercharge your knowledge and build management experience of our logistics operation
  • Pick up new skills from our super-talented scheduling and capacity planning team
  • Get to know project heads and People Business Partners with quarterly catch-ups
  • Get to grips with the ins and outs of our resource forecasting function
  • Help develop planning methodologies that improve our current processes
  • Create vital reports for the management team
  • Get to be at the heart of supply chain development projects, like making sure Dunelm has a solid infrastructure that’s fit for the future
  • Keep a very close eye on our supply chain performance
  • Step up the quality and service of deliveries to our stores
  • Think outside the box and find ways to streamline our Supply Chain processes
  • Build relationships with amazing people both inside and outside Dunelm – from colleagues and suppliers to third party logistics teams

What you’ll bring:

  • A genuine passion for logistics plus an itch to develop into a future leader
  • A curious, analytical mind and a knack for simplifying complex processes
  • The motivation to drive your own development and influence senior leaders
  • The resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented and ever-changing environment
  • The confidence to try, fail, learn, and try again
  • Strong innovation, communication and organisation skills
  • The drive to consistently deliver for our customers – working flexibly and with agility in our exciting and fast-paced environment
  • A minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent in supply chain, logistics or any business-related subject

Our benefits:

Our range of benefits are just as unique as our graduate schemes and include a 15% colleague discount on all our products.
