Job Description

We are looking for a Continuous Improvement and Project Analyst to join us on a 6 month secondment to support the Logistics team by facilitating continuous improvement and project meetings, documenting ideas and implementing positive change. You will work on multiple projects across all functions using continuous improvement methodologies to drive performance and cost improvements across Logistics.

What you'll be doing:
  • Hold regular CI workshops and feedback sessions
  • Set clear targets and document progress – specifically cost focussed, to prove the benefit of each initiative
  • Help the Logistics team understand store ops process to promote a CI culture throughout
  • Work according to the Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) at all times
  • Adhere to company health & safety / Security policies and procedures
  • Provide a documented process of CI and ensure all parties are engaged and communicated too
  • Protect the quality and security of merchandise through colleagues better understanding of store ops
  • Increase the Stoke Campus’ knowledge of the whole supply chain and store operations through cross functional projects
  • Facilitate CI initiatives to improve store availability, campus service % and delivery on time to store
  • Help to cement a world class, customer Service driven culture amongst Logistics
  • Help to monitor customer feedback from stores and set CI objectives accordingly
  • Promote a ‘right first time’ culture with more streamlined processes driven through CI
  • Provide ongoing support and training to all team members
  • Conduct regular diarised CI meetings and communicate effectively

  • Be visible to the teams across the campus and varying shifts
What we're looking for:
  • Knowledge of internal systems
  •  Be committed to the CI methodology
  • Competent in Logistics operations and ways of working
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook.
  • Previous experience within logistics and supply chain would be a distinctive advantage
  • Ability to create and maintain harmonised working relationships internally and with third party logistics businesses
  • Ability to manage upwards
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Works co-operatively and willingly with others to achieve common objectives.
  • Has a sense of urgency and works diligently to achieve timelines.
  • Familiar with working within a high performance culture.
