Job Description

We have a number of fantastic opportunities available for someone to join us in the Merchandising team. As a team, we ensure that we have the right product, in the right place, at the right time. We work side by side with our Buying team, managing the departments product buys through the supply chain from Supplier, through the distribution network and into our stores for our customers. Helping to trade the department is the exciting part of the role, we monitor the market and sales trends, we analyse sales performance and stock levels whilst always making sure that our product critical path remains on track.

We’re recruiting for Merchandise Support Assistants who will join us on a secondment with the benefit of being able to work from home with IT equipment provided by Dunelm. These roles are temporary as we simply don’t know how long our current levels of demand will continue.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience with Excel, Power Point, Outlook
  • Be able to effectively manage workload and prioritise
  • Be a good standard of communication – be it phone, email, video calls
  • Have the ability to work at pace     
  • Be self-motivated and passionate about the Dunelm product           
  • Be confident with data input 
  • Have the ability to comp shop online retailers and pull together findings and actions
  • Be able to use systems (with training) Power BI, SAP, Sunflower, service now
