Job Description
Were on the search for a Digital Trading assistant to, support the Digital Category Manager to maximise the sales and KPI’s of specific categories across alldigital channels (HD, C&C, MPOS).  
 
Were looking for someone with experience in a digital content and trade environment with proven experience in executing digital trade initiatives as well as a strong desire to learn.
Were looking for someone to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and departments across the business.
 
What you'll Do;
Report to and support the Digital Category Manager with the core aim of achieving and exceeding key department KPI’s across the performance of HD, C&C & MPOS.
Own & be accountable for the sales growth and key KPI’s for selected categories in their department.
Be competent in the use of data and analytics (Power BI, BW, GA, Hitwise, Adwords, CS, SAP etc) to report on key events as well as to aid the formulation of key decisions to drive the performance of the departments forward in terms of sales growth, conversions, AOV, IPO, Returns, Visits etc, on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis.
Action & be accountable for key initiatives being delivered directly online where necessary and work closely with the Digital Optimisation and Operations Team and Digital Planning and Customer Experience Team to maximise selling opportunities online through product and journey optimization, whether it be creative, LHN, imagery, taxonomy, page structure etc.
Thoroughly understand your category in the market place and report on the key competitors, their website journeys, their offers, emails and general market key trends.
Forge a good working relationship with the commercial teams, understand their actions (product launches, seasonal campaigns etc), convey ours as well as provide insight into possible market opportunities.
To be responsible for the homepage, category pages, email & social shouts for your departments, ensuring the end to end links and journey for these work. You ensure product nominations for these are right for the customer, in stock and will drive sales.
Be confident in producing performance reporting to Director and Exec level, i.e. in Monday trade meetings. 
Site hygiene – check the site daily to review site functionality across all devices. Raise tickets for issues.
Work closely with Digital Marketing at category level, in terms of how we improve category performance particularly around sale and events, i.e. pushing key products
Understand the importance of stock availability and highlight key issues and opportunities to maximise sales and profitability across HD, C&C and MPOS both ongoing and event.
Qualifications

Skills & behaviours required:

Strong digital awareness with previous experience in a digital trading function.
Desire to learn and further enhance your digital trading skills.
Has experience in using digital trade tools such as GA, Hitwise etc and a strong desire to learn more
Analytically minded, understands the importance of data to make key decisions.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a wide range of functions and stakeholders. Great at networking and see’s F2F contact as key.
Excellent organisation and planning skills and can keep a clear track of work progress.
