Job Description
Do you have a passion for technology? As the leading UK retailer of Home Furnishings, Dunelm are continuing to expand our colleague base to support our growing business.
 
In our Stoke operation, we have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our DSV team.

You will work 9am-5pm, Monday - Friday.

Of the 700,000 products available to order with Dunelm, 80% of them are available on a next day delivery basis. The DSV team are responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by efficiently managing order processes, such as releasing and sending orders and dispatching on-time to meet the customer delivery expectation.

We use our own systems to identify and act on any potential problems within the order and delivery process, working closely with our vendors and partners to enable successful dispatch on time and manage any exceptions.

In this role, you will need to be highly motivated and willing to learn. You will also need to be proficient in Excel, comfortable with report generationdata analysis, and communicating challenges with colleagues. This role includes:

  • Front line technical and operational support query handling
  • Helping with the identification of system issues and mitigation of delays
  • Report generation and interpretation
  • Root cause analysis and future fixing of dispatch in-time failures
Qualifications
What you will need
  • Experience working with Excel is essential (V-lookups / pivot tables)
  • Experience in a previous administrative role
  • Confidence to work well in a team, with good communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Dunelm
  •  Ability to work on your own as well as in a group
  • An eye for detail with strong organisational skills and a flexible approach in delivering a great job.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Strong PC skills.
  • Enthusiastic, dependable, accurate in your work, pro-active and self-motivated.
