You’ll get to know different people and departments, take advantage of in-house training courses, and benefit from plenty of coaching and support. It’s an intensive year, but one that will help you develop the technical, business and personal skills to launch a great career.

Sam - Undergraduate Placement Programme

From classroom to workplace and back again

Sam came to Dunelm for a year’s work experience during his studies at Loughborough University. He played a vital role in Dunelm’s smooth transition to a new container haulier by helping to prepare the tender, negotiate the contract and bring the new haulier on board. Along the way he’s had training in leadership and other skills he can take forward to his future career. He hopes to return to Dunelm when he graduates.

"By applying my university knowledge to the workplace and being ready to learn, I’ve been able to make a real contribution to the business."
